We go on lots of daylily tours around the country, and one of my favorite activities on these trips is to visit local nurseries for new plants and whimsical garden art. George the garden giraffe came from Independence, Missouri, and has been with us for quite a few years now. Like us, he is starting to fall apart! The large daylily in the foreground is HUGH TWO (Marshall-Earl 2002).
