I am a member of the AHS and the Daylily Growers of Dallas. My work with daylilies started about 8 years ago. I became interested in trying to breed them, so I did some research and found out how to do it. Once I bloomed out my first crop of seedlings I was hooked! Ever since then I have been trying to learn everything I can about the daylily.

My main breeding goals deal with lavender/purple colored diploids. I breed for full forms, watermark eyes and white edges. Good plant habit is also a must. I've also started doing similar work with red colored diploids. To date I have not done any breeding work with the tetraploids, and really have no plans to do so. I personally prefer the diploids.

I have also recently started a small collection of species daylilies. I have developed a liking for them and hope to keep my collection expanding!
