I take thousands of garden photos every year, and this is my all-time favorite. It was taken on a lucky warm summer morning after a cool night, with fog rolling in off the lake. I entered it into Region 11's Winter Gathering Photo Contest and won first place in the landscape category. Every year since, I volunteer my time to put on the contest. That way, I'll always be a winner! It's a fun winter project, getting to look at the gorgeous photos submitted by our region's gardener/photographers.
